It's June!!

It's June! I'm a little behind, I actually can't believe it's already June 10th!! My favorite month is zipping by like always. It's not just my favorite month because it's my birthday month (as Adam claims.) Side note.... I'm not really looking forward to my birthday anyways this year...8 days left to cling to my 20's and counting : (
Back to my post... I love June because it's the beginning of summer, you have the whole summer yet to look forward too. It's warm, you can swim, we go on vacation... ... the reasons go on. And it is finally warm! We went from a cold spring to warm summer weather overnight. This brings me to my pictures of our first day playing in Hunter's Hoppy Frog pool. The hose hooks up to it making a little sprinkler in the front. Confession: The 1st time I turned the hose on Hunter was bent over the pool and it sprayed harder than I thought spraying him all over his face. He started crying and was trapped in the spraying water. I had to shut the hose off, rescue him and dry him off. I thought maybe I had ruined him from the pool but he recovered and I turned it on very low and he enjoyed splashing in it!

His favorite thing is filling the bucket then dumping the bucket... repeat.
He also loves this spray nozzle. He saw me watering my flowers one day with it and now takes it (not hooked up to anything) and holds it over my flowers.
So if you haven't noticed yet... yes he's wearing pink Dora diapers : ( I bought a box of Pamper's Splashers a few weeks ago and paid special attention to buy the right size, not noticing that there is boy & girl styles. So yes his are pink Dora the Explorer with daisies on the behind. I was going to try and exchange them when I realized it but then the warm weather came on and I decided we'll just use them anyways. Only 16 pairs left to wear! Poor kid : ) He does have some appropriate "boy" swim shorts we can cover them with.

Later I went out to empty his pool and started pouring the water on my plants. Hunter saw me do it once and snatched the bucket away to try. He of course loves pouring the water out but always dumps towards himself. He got soaked but thought it was great fun!

This was also before this weekend when we received monsoon like rains all weekend... no need to water anything for awhile!!

I'm glad the warm weather is here! I love it. My husband feels differently. In other news.... have you ever seen a Luna Moth? I have before but only ever in Minnesota. We had one in our garage about a week ago. I think they are so pretty so I had to get a few pics.
