The Past Week

Adam went on a camping trip last week with a friend from work. He bought a tent, sleeping bag all the gear and headed north. They didn't have the best weather... it was pretty chilly the whole time. That didn't bother him so much as the wind was really bad and that makes canoeing pretty tough! They did catch a few fish and still had fun. The last night they spent hanging onto their tent during a really bad storm. When they woke up the next morning they saw that half of the tree right next to their tent had snapped off in the storm and was laying about 5 feet from their tent!

Their tent... the big tree in the background broke off about half way up and the white tree is what fell. Thankfully not on them!

Hunter and I hung out at home while they were gone. Here's Hunter taking time to smell the flowers. We are trying to learn that flowers are for smelling not destroying.

Yesterday Adam took the day off work to help me celebrate my birthday...... my 30th birthday, sniff, sniff. I started the day with a nice trip to the spa for a relaxing facial and then we went to Magic Waters in the afternoon. Hunter enjoyed the Little Lagoon, there was lots of fun things to climb on in the water which he loved.


It was a beautiful day and we had a good time.

Now we get ready to go on vacation together up north. Hopefully we survive the almost 9 hour drive! Pictures and stories to come...
