Monster Jam

Are you ready for Monster Jam???!!!     I've heard this a few thousand times it seems like.    Hunter really loves Monster Jam and on Sunday we went to our first show.   

I was really excited to take him because I knew he was going to love it.  It was worth it just to see his eyes when we were going to find our seats and he saw this when he peaked in the stadium.

He knew that he was at real Monster Jam show!

It started with the biggest Flag I've ever seen... it is Monster Jam so everything must be big!

Hunter with his ear plug/headset.... let's just say you needed this!   Everyone did.   It was the craziest, loudest thing I've even heard!   I was laughing when all the trucks came out at the beginning because you can't really be ready for how loud it is and how big the trucks are.

 Started with a wheelie competition.  Hunter loves Nitro Circus.... he loves many of them.

Oh yes, and there was a fire breathing, car eating megasaurus too...

 

Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt.. she rolled over.   Hunter loves Candice Jolly.   He knows the names of the drivers of most of the trucks and sometimes just calls the trucks by the drivers names.

 

 Big air!   We got to see several roll overs in the free-style.  It was the last show of the weekend so tend to go all out... makes for a fun show!

George Balhan crashed too.   He's from Chicago so he was big crowd favorite.

Grave Digger went last and won the freestyle, he put on a pretty good show!

End of show... Hunter was getting pretty tired but still having fun.

It was a pretty fun show.   I have to say even if you aren't a big fan you would probably still enjoy the show they put on.   Hunter loved it of course and  we go to see lots of his favorites with a lot of the really good drivers.    He also got the program with all the trucks in it which he loves looking at... and pointing out to us all the trucks he doesn't have yet and thinks he needs : )
