Nothing much new...

Nothing much new lately. We've been working on lots of projects at home. Adam thinks I'm "nesting" already. This because of my never ending list of projects : ) Really I just have a few things I wanted done before the cold weather starts. Staining some of our logs and cedar on the house for one and then doing some painting inside the house. I'm not sure when or how yet we'll paint the hallway with a toddler yet, but I have the paint bought and it all taped off and ready to go when the opportunity hits. It poses several challenges since it involves painting around 7 doorways! I've been wanting to do it for about 2 years now so I really need to get it done!

We wanted to take Hunter to the zoo again while the weather is still nice but he came down with a nasty cold this weekend. This after just getting over a cold about 2 weeks ago : ( And I'm pretty sure he's shared this one with me as I'm feeling it tonight.


I wanted to post a video of Hunter singing his abc's but the video is not cooperating tonight so I'll have to just post a few pics.


Hunter has no interest in any of his stuffed animals. The only one he occasionally pays attention to is Pooh Bear. Usually by dragging him around the house by his sweater. The other day he wanted to put Pooh in the glider and rock with him. Then he gave him a big kiss and a hug. I can never catch him actually smiling or looking at the camera by the time my camera takes the pic but I got lucky this time.

Seconds after the affectionate hug he chucked Pooh to the floor and went on to the next thing. It was cute while it lasted!

1 week til we find out what baby #2 is so place your bets! It feels a little weird that we will actually know, I think because we didn't find out with Hunter.
