The Fair = Lots of Moos & Baas

We took Hunter to the Fair last week. I wanted to take him because I knew he would love seeing all the animals... and he did! He calls all the animals by the sound they make... moo, baa, nee. We started out in the petting zoo. Hunter loves getting up close with the animals. Daddy hovered over to make sure he didn't get knocked down or bit. He really is completely fearless of the animals and loves to chase after them. It's hard to get a pic of him holding still and looking but you can see in these pics how excited he is.

The same barn as the petting zoo was filled with cages of chicken and bunnies. His little face smashed against a bunny cage.
Daddy was a little extra cautious holding him most of the time and trying to keep his fingers out of the goats mouth. He wanted to touch everything.

Above with the only llama at the fair. Adam was keeping his distance again for fear of being spit on.

There were several barns filled with cows, sheep, goats and pigs. We walked through all of them. I think he loved the barn with the sheep the most. Adam let him down and he ran from pen to pen saying "baaaaa" and getting more excited every time he found more sheep.

To complete the "fair" experience he stepped in some cow do-do and we didn't realize til Adam picked him up again and it got all over Adam's shirt and shorts : )

That was about all we did since he's too little for rides or games. We walked thru a couple buildings and managed to find a free balloon. He kept seeing balloons all over and gets so excited. The only balloon we found though said "Vote Democratic." We got it on our way out so we didn't have to walk around with it and Hunter loved it anyways : ) He played with it all the way home, that night and the next day until he finally popped it.
