Easter

We did Easter up with all the traditions this year... Easter baskets in the morning, matching Easter outfits, church, big lunch, Easter egg hunt and candy, candy and more candy!
I hid some eggs inside and their baskets for Easter morning.    Hunter's egg finding skills have significantly improved since last year!    He loved finding all the eggs and getting into his basket of goodies.
I had some mixed feelings about buying "Easter outfits" versus just having them wear something we already had.   I would tell you that it was Adam's idea but... if you knew Adam you would know that he thinks the whole concept of wearing an Easter outfit is ridicules much less the idea of dressing his boys in matching sweater vests : )   Any who... I was happy with my decision to go with the outfits and how cute I thought they looked once they were dressed.
So happy that it was nice warm Easter.   We attempted a few pictures outside before church.   I was afraid they might ruin their outfits at some point and I wanted to get a picture while they were still both clean!   Surprisingly both boys kept the outfit on and fairly clean the whole day!
Smile Hunter!   Oh, I see we are still doing "the face!"
We had a huge Easter egg hunt in my parents backyard after lunch.   It was Hunter's 3rd egg hunt of the day since we did one at our house and one at church.   This one was the big one!
Aidan was content to hold a couple eggs (balls, as he called them) and run around outside.

The Easter bunny hid lots of eggs in the trees!

This picture sums it up,  Aidan standing with an egg and Hunter running wildly around trying to find them all.
He kept dumping his little basket into the giant basket.
Hunter loved all it all and had a blast.   We counted when we got home and had over 100 eggs from all the egg hunts of the day and lots and lots of candy!
