Aidan John is here!

He's here and he didn't mess around coming. I woke up at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning and knew something was going on. I had been waking up about every hour but could go back to sleep but could not this time. I laid there about an hour timing what I assumed were contractions and then woke Adam up. We got to the hospital at about 5:15 a.m. and Aidan arrived at 8:10 a.m.! I was obviously already very much in labor and things were going so fast they just barely got me the much desired epidural. I got that around 7:00 a.m. and my Dr. said we could rest awhile they'd be back in an hour.... Well I was just starting to relax and it was time to push! Needless to say things went fast but very well. It was a much better & easier delivery than Hunter!
First family photo right after being born. I had a midwife this time as my ob. I have to say she was great. She was at the hospital right after we were and there the whole time, between her and a great nurse it made the whole event much easier!
Aidan John Bell. 2/3/09. 7lbs 6 oz. A little bigger than his brother... Hunter was 6lbs 7 oz.

Since we were both doing so well they told us we could go home the next day if we wanted. Sounded good to me so we did. I actually can't believe he's just 2 days old still. It feels like it's been a long few days. Just a few hours of sleep each night! He's been nursing really well. We went to the pediatrician this morning and he weighed 7lbs exactly so he just lost a few ounces. I'm sure he'll quickly recover them at the rate he is eating! Hunter is doing good adjusting to his new brother. He keeps checking on him and smiling and patting him on the head.
Here he is ready to leave the hospital and home we went!!
This is probably a little rambly as I'm a little sleep deprived at the moment. More thoughts and pics to come later.
