1st Fishing Trip

Hunter & I went on his 1st fishing trip yesterday with his Great Grandparents to Lake Summerset. The weather has been so nice this week so we decided to go. We went early and it was cloudy but still pretty warm. So I don't know what I expected....... but yeah trying to keep a 16 month old in the boat much less happy in the boat and trying to fish.......................... ha!!! It was an experience!! He's in a climbing phase so he pretty much wanted to climb all over the boat the whole time. His life jacket makes him a little clumsy and the boat rocking around doesn't help either. We were probably only out a little over an hour and I did even manage to catch 1 fish somehow in the process.

So I decided we have a ways to go before he's a fisherman like Daddy! We'll probably even try again... just not for awhile!!

The weather has been beautiful this week... finally!! We've had lots of outside time. Hunter loves running around the yard, eating rocks & dirt. It's all fun.
He's even been doing a little bird watching : )

And just running around lots, posing by the lovely dead spots in our yard.
But yippy!! Spring is finally here!!!
