15 Months

Hunter turned 15 months this past week. We went to his 15 month check-up which he did great for. He weighed 22 lbs. 11 oz. (up 2 lbs. 9 oz from his 1 yr.) and was 31.5 inches long (up 2.75 inches from 3 months ago!) almost 1 inch a month!! He's still a light-weight but his his height is between the 50%-75% percentile. I told the Dr. he's saying over 30 words (I counted the day before) and he said at this age they should be saying between 5-10 words. The Dr. started out by saying this would be a "very difficult examine" and then Hunter surprised him by holding so still and not crying at all. He even giggled a little when the student Dr. was poking his belly. I thought it was funny because at the beginning when the nurse was taking his measurements she said "do you stay home with him, he's so cooperative." He was holding still and doing what we asked and I thought it was interesting she thought that because he was being so good.

I took Hunter outside to play yesterday for the 1st time all winter. I had him bundled in his snowsuit and then realized it was really nice out when we got outside. He could barely walk so we ditched the snow pants!

He loved walking around, although it was a little difficult for him with boots on and the uneven ground. He held onto my finger and just wanted to keep walking.
He took a tumble and stopped himself with his face...see the dirt on his nose and forehead : ( He didn't cry though.

It was really beautiful out and we even got out the swing for a little bit. I thought it was a good day to go out for the 1st time since it was the 1st day of spring. Today however............. a blizzard!! Yes it's snowing and blowing as I type and we are supposed to get 7 inches : (
